Advanced Filters & Gadgets is available exclusively through the Atlassian Marketplace, on a monthly or annual subscription.

For current prices, see the Pricing tab of the Marketplace listing — it’s the only place that is always up to date.

How the subscription works #

Billing follows Atlassian’s standard rules. Price is determined by the number of users in your Jira instance, not by how many people use the app.

  • Multiple Jira products on one instance are billed at the highest user tier. If your instance has Jira Software with 50 users and Jira Service Management with 10 agents, you’re billed at the 50-user tier.
  • Billing adjusts automatically. At each renewal Atlassian matches the charge to your current user count — there’s nothing to update by hand.
  • An active subscription includes support and automatic product updates for the period.
  • The app is installed instance-wide. It’s available across Jira Software and Jira Service Management; the licensing rule above still applies.

Pricing structure #

Instances of 10 users or fewer are free. Not a limited edition or a trial — the whole app, at no cost, for as long as your instance stays that size.

Above ten users you pay per user, per month, and the rate falls as the instance grows. Billing is on your Jira instance’s user count, not on how many people open the app.

The Marketplace listing is the authoritative source for prices. The table above is reproduced here for convenience and may lag a change. Always confirm on the Pricing tab of the listing before budgeting or quoting.

If prices change after you’ve bought, a 60-day grandfathering period lets you renew at the previous rate. We always give notice in advance.

Free trial #

Like every Marketplace app, Advanced Filters & Gadgets starts with a free evaluation period as soon as you subscribe. It runs for a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe.

Evaluation periods cannot be extended — that’s an Atlassian rule rather than ours. If you need longer to run a proper evaluation, talk to us before the trial starts and we’ll work out how to help.

Discounts #

  • Annual subscriptions are offered at a discount to monthly.
  • Non-profits, academic institutions and similar organizations — we support Atlassian’s special pricing initiatives.
  • Certified Atlassian Partners are welcome to a free license for internal and demo use. Ask us through the channels below.

Buying without a trial #

If your procurement process needs a quote rather than a trial, Atlassian’s Direct Buy Quoting covers Marketplace apps. You can skip the evaluation period and start the subscription either on the quote conversion date or on a future date that suits you.

  • Existing customers — request a quote from the billing console: Quotes in the left-hand menu, then Request quote.
  • New customers — go to Atlassian Support: Contact Us, choose Pricing, billing & licensing, then Quotes and Plan Changes → Create a new quote.
